While most human resources (HR) practitioners recognize substance abuse
and addiction as among the most serious problems faced in the workplace,
few companies proactively address these issues with their employees,
according to a new survey from the Hazelden Foundation, a national
non-profit organization that helps people reclaim their lives from the
disease of addiction.
